Kingston University is a large institution in south west London. With over 20,000 undergraduate students studying a range of 379 courses, Kingston has facilities and resources to match most interests. Our largest faculty is Science, Engineering and Computing and in 2016/17 we will be launching a Lab in a Lorry and an Outreach Lab solely for school and college use. Our Art, Design and Architecture faculty is world renowned and runs several outreach initiatives for pre-university learners, as do our Arts and Social Sciences and Health, Social Care and Education faculties.
Outreach Provision
We have a large outreach offering at Kingston, working with over 15,000 learners each year. We have activities are for primary, secondary and tertiary education, each linked to the curriculum and development needs of these cohorts. Increasingly popular are our staff training sessions that ensure school and college staff have completely up to date information about higher education. Our work is targeted at learners from low income households, families with no history of HE participation, looked after children and those with disabilities or specific learning differences.
