Biology Masterclasses
The Royal Veterinary College is a leading site of research, and in this session teachers can bring pupils to visit a scientist who will demonstrate their research.
Pupils will learn about careers in biology, through meeting a scientist who will explain their route into science. Our academics have devised investigations suitable for Year 12 pupils to enhance their understanding of biology research in real contexts. Previous topics have included Reproduction-Professor Robert Abayasekarah; Microbiology-Dr Sharon Kendall; The Neuromuscular System-Professor Dominic Wells; and the Musculoskeletal System-Dr Sarah Channon.
